EV charging

7 public charging sites, with 7 fast-charging and 12 Level 2 ports between them. Fast charging is in Minden, at the Tesla Supercharger, and in Dorset. Most of the rest are the IVY chargers at township offices and arenas.

A Level 2 port is for charging over a meal or overnight; a fast charger is for topping up on the road.

Where this comes from

Natural Resources Canada’s station data, as the Alternative Fuels Data Center publishes it, read on 14 October 2026 and recorded in data/ev_chargers.yml with each station’s AFDC number and the date it was last confirmed in service. Only chargers open to the public are listed. The phone numbers are each network’s support line.

Every place is in a township because the Ontario Road Network puts its civic address on that township’s side of the road, not because of its mailing address. Contact details are what each place publishes itself, never Google, Yelp or TripAdvisor.
